I guess a Monthly update? and NerdFest!! Yay!

One day, maybe life will be less hectic. Maybe I will fall into a routine that is actually routine. Maybe, but not likely. Every time I think I have a routine down, something major comes along to change everything. The best we can home for is organized chaos. Just so you know, I am always trying to get my ducks in a row, but then I remember I have squirrels who think they are at a rave. 

All of this is to say, I keep meaning to dedicate one day a week to updating website, blog, socials, and all of that jazz. But some weeks that day doesn’t work and the next day I don’t even think about it. Or I think “I just spent like 3 days straight on that, didn’t I? Let’s skip it this week.” Next thing I know, it is a month later and I am finally getting back to it. 

In my defense, this will be my 3rd show in 4 weeks, with the “off” week being Independence Day, so…. I may have been preoccupied with things other than updating my blog. But here I am remembering to post about a show more than 1 day before. It’s actually 3 days before!

Just like the 5cCon 2 weeks ago in Bolivar, this is another 1st time event, and is hosted by KC Book Beat. Find out more about it here. It is mostly an afternoon/evening event, kicking off with a Pokemon tourney at noon. Let’s hope it can at least achieve the heights of the freshman 5cCon. Every show so far this year has just gotten better and better, and convinced me I am moving in the right direction. This one seems to have a bit of everything a Nerd of any age could want, just be sure to bring the kiddoes early, because after 5pm is adults only. I have no idea what to expect, but come join me and find out!

I am looking forward to taking some time off to focus completely on making new art for next season, and I will let you all know the schedule for the fall shows soon. I have lots of appearances Sept-Nov, and would love to see you there!
